im 38+5 grr iv done everything today to get little madam to shift!! literally.. i had a looong walk that even involvd a bit of running, climing stairs, eveniung primrose oil, raspberry leaf tea, bouncing on the ball, AND i even spent £9.09 on Clary sage oil took a batyh with it and mixed it with a carrier oil and put it on my bump and NOTHING!!!

how long does clary sage oil take to work??? any1 actually had it work??? all its done so far is make me reallllly sleepy!!!

NOTHING will work unless your baby is ready to be born! so thats why its not working........ your only 38 weeks so still could have 2-4 weeks to go yet

Keep putting the clary sage oil on. It wont work with just a days application. It did bring on my labour last time after I'd used it for a week in baths and rubbing on bump BUT it sent me into latent labour and it took 3 days for me to have my baby.
Keep applying it if you want to, not everyone's experience will be like mine obviously, but it will take a few applications if its going to do anything.

Personally I'd let your body go into labour naturally. I know its frustrating and you want baby out, I was like that last time but after having a 3 day labour I'm quite happy to wait this one out this time, despite the SPD pain and running around after the toddler! lol

If she's not ready, you won't get her out hon.

I know its frustrating but she obviously needs to stay in a bit longer. x

Yep I feel fantastic too being a week overdue  but its just one of those things! your not actually classed as post-term until 42 weeks....

With my 3rd baby I started using clary sage oil from just over 40 weeks. Used it twice a day and ended up having my baby at 14 days overdue :-( it is so very frustrating. I wish I could tell you it worked for me. But saying that I will try again with this baby if I need to Anything is worth a try. You never know. Your baby may be ready soon and it may just do the trick. Good Luck xxx

How long will your midwife/dr let you go past your due date? Mine said he won't let me go past one week...but even that's too far for me! I get what you mean, I have been stair climbing, walking like crazy, squats, dancing, taking epo, dtd (not much..but will be trying to do it more lol) and I definitely lost a lot of plug last friday, but nothing since then! I know she isn't ready yet, but all I have been hoping for is to help her engage!!!
I would love to know if any of your attempts work :) The castor oil (if you can get it) and this clary sage oil, or anything else! Keep updates coming lol
