claustrophobia during pregnancy?

I had never had a panic attack or claustrophobia in my life, but about a week ago I started. When Im in a tight spot I freak! I feel like I cant breathe, my hart starts racing, and I feel as if I could faint. This has happened on a plane, in the shower, in my car, and even when I was wearing a tight fitting dress. Has anyone else experienced this? Just wondering if it could be pregnancy related.

I've had panic attacks before, but they were mostly medication related, and had nothing to do with pregnancy, so I can't help with that. But you definitely have my sympathy, because those are not fun situations!

If it started since you have been pregnant it could most definitely be pregnancy related. I have claustrophobia but haven't noticed it getting worse since ive been pg. Before pregnancy I had also experienced a couple panic attacks and since being pregnant I haven't had a full blown one but I have noticed I've been more anxious. Pregnancy can cause some crazy things to happen, you should discuss it will your dr next time you see him.
