I think a first word is when it's with meaning, not just a sound which sounds like a word. Like Rory said something which sounded ALOT like "bugaboo" the other day, but I doubt he was talking about pushchairs!

That's the problem I'm having with FOB. LO says dadada but I know for a fact it has no meaning to her and I want her first word to mean something so don't want him telling people because it just seems like a lie I take things so seriously
