Hi Ladies!

I'm kinda mad and upset at the same time!!

I've been using clear blue digitals for 2 months now - they are expensive and I don't believe I am getting my money's worth!

IN Jan I got a smiley and stopped testing - but never got a temp rise - so I didn't actually ovulate anywhere near the smiley.

So this month - I got a smiley on CD16 and then I continued to use because again I saw no temp rise...
So I got another smiley on CD 22 - almost a week later!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I'm so annoyed!

I ran out of CB's so I'm now using cheapies and I got a half positive last night at 9PM...Picture attached...

Has anyone had this happen with CB products or any other OPK products?

Thanks!

with the dip strips there's no such things as a half positive, it's either positive or negative. If the test line isn't AS dark as the control line, it's negative. While I admit that does look awfully close, i think it's still a lighter test line than control line. If you were coming close to ovulation i would say to keep testing and that would get positive.

As im sure you're aware the OPK's (of any variety of brand) dont actually indication ovulation, only a positive LH surge. I would venture to say it's not outside the realm of reason that you may be having multiple surges but no actual ovulation (as you've indicated by your charting).

I hate to say that most doctors probably wont be willing to do much at this ponint in your conception journey, however it may very well be worth a call to your Dr and inquire about having a blood panel done due to the fact you believe you're not ovulating.

How are your cycles generally ? Are they regular ?

thanks for the reply!

OPK from this morning was negative - hardly even a test line...

My cycles are not really regular - anywhere from 33 days to 43...

That would seem to fall into line with annovulation i think, with the possibility of multiple LH surges but no actual ovulation..

have you contacted your Dr yet about them being willing to anything, blood work if nothing else ?

The digitalis were too sensitive for me. They were giving me positives from day 8 through 12 but then sonogram confirmed I wasn't ovulating till day 13 or 14.
