Clearblue fertility monitor

I have ordered the clearblue fertility monitor on day 1 of cycle but it is taking ages to come and by the time it gets here will probably be day 7 or 8. I have read the latest you can start is day 5...question is would you just start using it when it arrives or leave it this month?? My cycles are all over the place so need its help - I conceived first month off pill but unfortunately had a miscarriage and it has take me 10 weeks to have a period!!!!

Mine came on cd8 3 cycles ago so I waited until the next month. I used it for 2 cycles. Gl.

I would wait as it needs to get to know your cycle and starting it after CD5 might affect this.

I'd probably start on 7 or8 to be honest. Wind it on to day five and just remember that you're two or three days behind. It doesn't really get to know your cycles - all it does is have you POAS from CD6 if you have shorter cycles and from CD9 if you have longer ones.

As long as you don't ovulate really early (like CD9 or 10) then it'll probably be fine.

Note that this is just my advice having used it for a year or so (1 pregnancy, 1 miscarriage). The manufacturers would no doubt tell you different!

Thanks for the advice. Grumblebea it obv worked for you!! Think my cycles are so messed up they may be very long anyhow. Still not here yet...will probably just give it a whirl when it finally arrives!!
