OOOOOOOOO it's so horrible, like when you crack your fingers or your knees click. When i get up out of bed in the night my hips go ' click click, crack crack' i sound like i'm ninety!!!

makes me cringe.

Yep me too! It's horrible to listen too and the pain is awful :-(

I finally have my physio appointment though on Tuesday so hopefully they will be able to help me.

I have this when I get out of bed and also when I turn over. I have pelvic joint dysfunction which I think is also verging on SPD as when I get up its like I have no energy or muscle to move (iykwim??). I had physio and tbh it hasn't made too much difference. In fact I was told to sleep with a pillow between my legs and this actually makes the pain and clicking MUCH worse and more painful!! I have no idea what helps as I haven't found anything yet! I was given co-codamol at 16 weeks but it didn;t make any difference. Also you can only take it up to a certain point as it can cause breathing problems in baby during labour. I don't think i've really been much help, sorry! At least you know you're not alone?!!

thank god it's not just me!!! At the moment it's not painful, it's just the most horrible sound in the world. I hope it dosent start getting painful.

Me too .... mine have always clunked and clicked but since pregnancy, it's 20x more frequent! Night time is worse. Your ligaments are loose now and everything is stretching and making room. It's horrible though x

I have SPD / PGP and I get loads of clicking, but with mine I get horrendous pain - makes me want to be sick when it is really bad.

If it gets painful speak to your MW and they can refer you to physio (although that hasn't helped me either, as I am constantly in too much pain to do the exercises she gave me!)

I'm with you ladies too with the cracking and clicking hips, painful too especially at night when I get up to visit the bathroom and then when I get up of a morning, it must be the way I lay in bed that isn't helping much but they also crack when i get up off the sofa and hurt whilst out and about walking.

i have had this for months. i know from reading online that it must be spd but everytime i have mentioned it to a doc or mw they dont seem to know what im talking about?! does anyone know if this can cause problems during labour?x

mine do this too! and i am in so much pain with my hips that it hurts to walk :(
