Clomid alone vs clomid with metformin? Anyone have experience?

I conceived my son on clomid but didn't ov til cd21-22. I didn't ovulate at all without it. We are now ttc no 2 and I've been on metformin a few months which has given me 2 afs in just over 3 months (last cycle on it being 60 days) just wondering of the met will move up my O day on clomid or if it will still be so late? Worried ill burn out on bding before then but want to keep all bases covered!

So my question is for anyone who has had clomid and also clomid with metformin did your ov date stay the same with both or change?

I was on clomid for one cycle before starting metformin. On the clomid only cycle, I o'd on cd 16. With clomid and metformin (the other 2 clomid cycles), I o'd cd17/18. It didn't make a big difference for me.

Only by a day or two, which I am totally happy with! Before clomid I wasn't o'ing until sometimes as late as cd49.
