Clomid and ttc

We've been ttc since Mar. 2011 with no luck. I was on BCpills for 10 yrs. (Funny you spend 15 yrs of your life trying not to get pregnant only to find out it's not that easy...) I've done 2 cycles of Clomid 50mg so far. The first cycle I did ovulate, but not the 2nd. So, this next cycle my OB is upping the dosage to 100mg. Hopefully this will be the month on which we have been waiting. I am back on the progesterone right now (day 2) and it is making me feel high for about an hr after I take it. I didn't notice this the first month I took it, but I was taking it at bedtime and this time I take it at lunch...? Has anyone else noticed this?
Oh, forgot to mention that I took nothing but mucinex and preseed the first month. The second month I took low dose aspirin, royal jelly in honey, mucinex, and preseed. Has anyone had luck with these products? I kinda wonder if the royal jelly kept me from ovulating.

Anyone about to start a clomid cycle?

Tomorrow is a Big day for us, We are going to get results back for blood, SA, pap, and the u/s. I am hoping to get my provera and clomid so I can begin this journey. I will let you know for sure tomorrow. When will us start? Baby dust to you XXXX

I am staring clomid for the first time this next cycle.

I am currently on day 5 out of 7 days for Provera and as soon as AF starts, I am on 50mg of Clomid cd3-7. I am so excited for this new step!

Keep us posted on your results Chiles!! If we don't get BFP this cycle DH will go for a SA. Tryinfor1: So, you are taking the provera for 7 days? They have me taking progesterone 200mg for 12 DAYS!!! I wonder if I could just take it for 7 days...? Anyone know anything about the duration in which it must be taken?

WOW. Lol I dont anything about the duration of Progesterone but I know that Provera can be taken in like increments of 5, 7, or 10 days. Maybe just ask your DR about that next time? Well, hopefully a next time wont be needed!!

Have you started taking your progesterone yet? If so, how many more days do you have left? I have one more day of Provera and I am hoping AF shows this weekend!

BTW, I love that we are all starting clomid together. We can talk to each other going through it.

I'm only on day 3 of the progesterone...I guess I will follow drs orders this time. urghh
So I'll have 9 more days of progesterone then my cd1 will probably be two days after that. About 14 days from today i will start clomid.
What mg and days are you taking clomid? I will be on 100 mg 3-7 this time. They have always told me to take it 5-9, but i see where most people have beter results 3-7 and even still i don't ovulate till the 18th which is kinda late, right?

Only a few days late.. but I would love to ovulate the 18th, lol instead of never. But I have heard that 3-7 gets better results too.

They started me out on the low dose, 50mg cd3-7. I have my last pill of provera tonight and hoping af will start this weekend. SOOO hopefully in a few days I will be able to take my clomid. I am super excited. Lol!

Do you mind if I ask how long it took for you to get AF after stopping provera? I took my last pill last night and just curious.

The first time I took Provera it was two days later and the second time it was three days later. Hope that helps!

I am on my first cycle of clomid CD5-9 and so far everything is going great.I still have 2 more pills to take. The only thing I have is hot flashes(only at bedtime). Hopefully this will be the cycle.... baby dust to All!!!

i was wondering if you have tried clomid and did tricare give you the run around?
we have been trying to concieve for 4 years since our first daughter was born and in january 2011 we were succesful after a year long deployment. however i MC in feb and had a DnC. now i have iregular periods wich i have all my life and i cant seem to get pregnant and OPK never says i am ovulating. i think i am anaovulatory. has anyone had experience with getting clomid from their doc at an af base? we are joint army and af base in alaska and we see AF doctors. PLEASE SOMEONE tell me there is hope i am almost 30 and i want another baby so badly it is killing me to see everyone i know have their 2nd and third baby and i cannot. it just hurts knowing i want to add to my family and so does my hubby. and we have had him tested he is GOOD TO GO, i figured as much with our daughter weighing in at 12 lbs 5 ounces! yep i typed it right 12.5 at birth.

Sorry about your lost. I have tricare (fort jackson) . And I did not get the round around. If your doctor rx then you shouldn't have a problem getting it. You may need to ask your gyno about prescribing it to you, or get him to refer you to a RE. My friend did not have a problem getting hers either. You have to see a doctor and ask for it. since you had a miscarriage then they may want to refer ou to a RE or FS and have e testing done, etc first. GL!!!!

Hoping like hell this is my month! Thanks to so many threads here I have learned pretty much everything I need to know before taking this pill...That is just so cool when you think about it!
