clomid question

I have 3 beautiful children all conceived on clomid
the first - cycle one
and twins - 3rd cycle

I want one more to complete my family and been to see the gyno today who says she can only offer me 2 months more as every1 in UK as a max of 6 cycles and no more than that.

he never heard this before I always thought it was max 6 cycles per pregnancy

Im just not sure if 2 cycles will do it any ladies have any advice

I have pcos so that's the reason for me needing clomid to help me ovulate

Sorry - I'm having a hard time understanding your question. Who is "he" in "he never heard this before"?

In general though, I had thought it was 6 months per pregancy as well. However, I live in the states and wouldn't be all too surprised if other countries have different regulations. I've heard clomid isn't necessarily the *safest* of drugs to continually put in your body and has had some links with ovarian cancer. So maybe that's why they're saying that? I wonder if you can speak with your obgyn about other medications that might help you ovulate so you don't have to remain on clomid? not sure. Either way - good luck, hun!

My OB will only let me on clomid for 3 cycles, I am on my second cycle now 50mg, CD7. Fingers crossed to you!
