So I have been ttc for two years and nothing. So I am thinking of trying clomid. But I know absolutely nothing about it. How many mgs should I take, and how often do you take clomid? How does it work? Please share your experiences if you have any, or what you know. It would help a lot! Thank you

i went on clomid, prescribed my my fertility specialist. I have not been ovulating because of polycystic ovaries. So, first month, 50mg - blood test = FAIL, 100mg - blood test = FAIL, 150mg -blood test FAIL
IVF = success, 8 weeks and counting :) + few complication :( (have a hematoma/ clot next to bub causing me to bleed with possible miscarriage threat).
before you go on clomid, do you know what is causing your infertility?

I'm in the same situation....been TTC for 2 years....have appt to see about clomid in June (NHS waiting list where I live is dire). We are classed as unexplained but partners last sperm test showed only 6% normal sperm (everything else was very good).

I'm not sure about clomid...my periods are very light and I heard it can make your lining thinner. Confused!

    xx
