wanted to start a thread for us mummies that have lo's not to far apart for support and everything else.

i am mummy 2 gabrielle and noah they are 17 months apart and i find it very rewarding seeing how much gabrielle adores noah he smiles the most for her i actully got woken up at 5 am this morning with gabrielle talking to noah and showing him her dolly he was smilling away was very cute also woke up to find gabrielle holding a nappy trying to figure out how to it goes on and telling me noahs uky poo lol. downside is that people are treating me like some baby making machine and think its funny to joke about it like asking if i am pregnant again and stuff.

mine are 21 months apart and i get the comments and jokes but the upsides are so great as well lol, i love the way they interact when they are happy and my elder one is starting to show protective tendancies towards his brother which is cute

how cute my dd is always showing noah of to her friends at play group and giving him kisses and trying to sing round and round the garden to him exspept her version is rounda rounda garden and then makes the rest up

aww thats cute, my eldest isnt a quiet child but hes rather non verbal about things lol hes very clever though he just chooses not to talk more often than not lol.will be happy friday when playgroup is back on so i can take them

theres roughly 2 yrs between each of mine.... i have 3 under 4s and they are good as gold :) x

Hope you dont mind me posting in here? We are considering another baby soon but I already have the comments of 'not pregnant again then' or 'will you be pregnant in time for xmas again this year' There 10 months between Alex and Daisy but Alex died so I cant say if I honestly would have had Daisy when Alex was young had he have lived but the comments hurt, if only they just think :dohh: I love the thought of Daisy doing what your LO's do, they made my heart melt just reading about them :) xxx

Hi. I have four kids under 6. There is a 2 year 2 month gap, then 18 months then 2 years. I also get loads of comments about being a baby machine. I feel like a human incubator some times. My youngest is ony 8 weeks and a few people have already asked me if I am pregnant again even after I have said we aren't having any more!!

Sorry for your loss, i myself have had several babies taken from us before we were ready for them to go.

it does melt my heart when the boys are being sweet with each other, EJ is learning to fight back when Nate steals his toy or dummy

Hi my name is Leanna im 26 and I have 22 months between my two. Toby is 2 and sam is just over 2 months. I love the age gap and both my boys are well behaved. There are some days I wanna tear my hair out, lol but im really enjoying seeing them start to interact with each other. xx

yeah having a small age gap is really tough at times but well worth it. dylan and erin are getting on better now too. i think they got worse when owen arrived so it was probably attention seeking! owen has fallen asleep in my arms and i am hoping that i can put him down now and get some housework done.

Hi! I am in the trenches right now with a two week old and a 21-month old!
To be honest, I don't think it's that small of a gap. I always thought that around two years was a pretty average spacing? But I was really surprised and more than a little annoyed by the comments I got about how close together my boys are. Such a weird thing when people make comments like that, eh? It's so offside and rude. Like it's anyone's business! :nope:
hayley - I cannot believe some people were that insensitive to say such things to you. Incredible.

I am also really touched by my eldest's excitement and kindness towards his little brother so far. I sure hope they are good friends growing up! :)

thats the same gap as between my boys hun, hope your family and friends are helping out and being good with not ignoring your toddler when they visit.

We've had great support, in general.
There are only a few days a week I am on my own with them, as my husband works shifts and can be home with us for several days at a time.
We are just both pretty tired as we are dealing with the newborn's night feedings, plus a toddler who bounces out of bed around 6 am!
I am not great at napping, either, so I am starting to look like something out of a zombie flick! :)

Hi, i have 12 and a half months between my first 2, a bigger gap between my 2nd and 3rd of 20 months and a few years between 3rd and 4th.

At one time tho i had 3 kids under 3 lol, great fun, i loved it!!!
I often feel Jamie will be left out of things being so much younger.
