Closing the pregnancy chapter and moving forward

Well it's only been 11 days since our little girl was born and it's bittersweet
To say good bye to the bump for good. This is my 3rd child and our baby making days are over. I still can't believe I will never have a prenatal appt or u/s With all those happy memories. I find myself looking back with a bit of sadness but trying to gain focus on the new chapter ahead.

Any girls feeling the same and having a bit of bump envy?

I'm not looking forward to those days. For me even considering the end of this pregnancy is bittersweet. I'm seriously going to miss my bump But this is only my first and I'm feeling like that. So I do understand where you're coming from. Think of all the love and fun your children will provide instead!

I honestly won't miss the bump or pregnancy. The one thing I think I might miss is the freedom, since this is my first my life is about to change for good!

But no, I will not miss my body not being mine. I can't wait to get it back to the way it used to be, and not being uncomfy all the time!

I know what you mean!! This is our third and most likely the last..I know I will with in a couple years I will be craving the newly born baby and the breastfeeding and even pregnancy but I guess we have to look on the bright side of not going thru that again..for me I plan on finally building a career and focusing on the three kids I will have and give them the best possible..I keep telling my husband when I do get to the stage were im begging for a forth just remind me of all reasons we decided not to have more and how miserable I get during pregnancy lol..

So funny, I told my husband when I was pregnant to remind me how hard it was on me. It's so easy to forget once it's all over.

Thanks, I am looking forward to getting back in shape and watching my little girls grow together. Family vacays are on the way.
