Any recommendations? I've got a set of cheeky wipes but find them a bit corse after lots of usage. Anyone used another brand/type?

I bought some from Etsy and am very happy with them. They were around $20 for three dozen. The seller is called AsYouStitchBaby

I was just using the little baby washcloths you can buy in packs of 12, then this week I was in TK Maxx and to my delight found some close parent bamboo wipes reduced to £4. I have wanted some for ages but at £12.50 for 10 it just seemed a bit pricy, they are absolutely gorgeous though, just so so soft. Slightly off topic but I was also chuffed to bits about finding a close parent car seat protector for £3 and one of their free and dri mats for £7. I so love TK Maxx :happydance:

Do you use them wet or dry? We have some that are fine when wet but if I don't give them a quick tumble they're a bit stiff to use dry.

I love cotton sherpa wipes, they're so soft and fluffy! I have mostly Eli's WipEs (the small/family cloth size) that we use for nappy changing and they're lovely. My favourites have cotton sherpa on one side and OBV on the other.

I tend to use wet and dry but I've had them ages and they have seen better days. I was looking for something softer. Might attempt to make my own.
For those that use wet, do you store in solution or just water?

I use face cloths that I bought at a discount store and just wet them with water :)

I just wet them at the tap when I need them. I can't be bothered making solution or even filling a box with water every day/every other day - I forget about them and they go musty.

I was using baby wash cloths,
but I'm really thinking hard about using a regular wash cloths, the baby ones are just too small and thin for me for poopies lol. For just wiping, they're fine, otherwise I need something a little thicker. I hate baby wipes for how thin they are, as well lol.

Cheeky Wipes do some bamboo wipes now which are much nicer, still got good grip but not so coarse.

if you have a dryer, pop the wipes in there after the wash :) my DH put my cheeky wipes in the dryer and they came out lovely and soft!! (they are bamboo though).

I made my own wipes. One side cotton flannel and the other side is cotton terry. I used my serger to make sure they don't fray.

The dryer works great to make them soft and fluffy.

I have a wipes warmer and I use a solution of water, unscented Dr. Bronner's soap, and olive oil. I do up the solution we use for one day and wet 10 wipes and put them in the warmer (that is all I can fit in there!)

I use these wipes:

They're wonderful and thick and stack perfectly in my Prince Lionheart cloth wipes warmers with no folding or rolling. Super easy! I use plain water- no solution- and we've never had even a hint of diaper rash. I was using disposable wipes when I went out, but now I just throw a few of my cloth wipes in a small wet bag because I hated the thinness of the disposable ones. Yuck.
