clotting blood?

hello need some info i had light brown spotting for a couple of days now its a dark red blood with clots in it, i'm 4\5 weeks gone and im not sure if its because i had an internal scan yesterday or if its my period as my mum had periods through both me and my brother, no heartbeat showed at my scan but thats cause the baba was too small, just need some advice whether to call my midwife again or not, thanks x

If it has turned to fresh blood and especially with clots I would def. call your midwife. Good luck. I hope you are just doing like your mom did. Keep us posted

its stopped again, midwife isnt worried to much because there isn't any pain and its only heavy for like 2 mins then it stops for hours again, :S its just a case of waiting until my next scan on the 23rd xx
