Cloudy Urine? (Sorry if TMI)

I know I've been kind of clogging up the forum with all of my questions today. I just seem to be full of them.

However, I've just used the restroom and noticed that my urine was really cloudy. My husband and I kind of fooled around a little while ago (sorry if TMI again! ) and I'm not sure if that could be related. I've noticed I've had a lot more cm than usual in the past few days. It doesn't have a funny color or odor, though. Should I be worried about a UTI? Or maybe that I'm leaking amniotic fluid?

I think I'm just driving myself crazy...

Hmmm...I'm not sure? My urine seems to always be cloudy (even before I got pg). For me I do not drink nearly enough water as I should daily and always attributed it to that? I doubt it's anything to worry about though!

I noticed cloudy urine when I got pregnant. I don't really pay attention or notice it anymore, but I think around 5-7 weeks is when I noticed it the most.

I know the feeling all too well. Every symptom or lack of symptom has me heading straight for Google which is definitely not a good thing!

I noticed this the other week too, and freaked out a bit as Dr Google told me it could be an undetected UTI! I think it is just excess CM though, as I (TMI) noticed quite a bit when I wiped. I drank a lot of water and checked again 30 minutes later, no problem then. If there's any pain though, especially around where your kidneys are then it would be best to get in touch with a doctor just to make sure

With my first pregnancy i went to my gyn and they tell u to pee in a cup, and leave it on the shelf with tthe other cups of urine. Mine was the only one cloudy, thats how i knew i was prego haha. I had the weird looking pee compared to the othr patients there.

Now my urine i cloudy, wouldnt that be the pregnancy hormone? I mean it does come out in urine in order for us to get positive tests.

I'm not sure if it would be the hormone or not? Mine is usually pretty clear. I just have stages of it being cloudy. The excess cm hypothesis makes a ton of sense.

Also your prenatals? Mine made my pee NEON for a couple weeks- now it's just cloudy sometimes. But I drink TONS of water and I also have a lot of CM. Hard to say. Dr. told me my pee looked fine last time though.

cloudy urine can be pretty common in pregnancy, can be caused by contamination of vaginal discharge, increased urine concentration, vitamins, food you eat, or the fact that in pregnancy your kidney's become slightly less efficient at filtering out molecules so more stuff gets passed into the urine making it cloudy. Anyways, most reasons are not concerning at all but on the flip side it can be caused by a uti so it would be good to let your doc know just in case. But if cloudy urine is your only symptom, even if it is a uti it's likely just a very mild one at this point.

Thank you so much! I've used the bathroom since and it looks like the cloudiness has gone away but I will keep an eye on it just in case. If it happens again tomorrow, I will call my doctor before the weekend.
