CM - what exactly am I looking for?

I have a pretty good idea what to expect CM wise during ovulation because it increases immensly during CD14 usually. But any other tips on using th CM method, I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating today/tomorrow and I think we are going to give it a go.

Any tips and advice welcomed!!!
