Co sleeping to toddler bed

First let me say hooray to co sleeping or I'd be one tired mama! So I came into co sleeping cuz my baby wanted to be held 24\7 and my dh suggested it when he returned to work...then as a bf mom I loved it! So much more sleep! I digress, I was planning to forget the crib all together and go straight to a toddler bed at around 1.5 to 2 years old as I plan to be pregos with a second by then. I'd like advice on how and when you transitioned. Thanks!
