Yesterday I had a positive OPK, so DH and I were busy BDing last night and didn't make a fire. So our house was pretty darn chilly this AM; coldest it's been in weeks (14 degrees Celsius). My BBT temp has been between 36.2 - 36.5 ish. This morning it was 35.92. It seemed quite low as I've never been below 36.20. I went back sleep and took another temp later 36.58 (solid 3 hour sleep).

Pretty sure I wasn't sleeping with my mouth open. So I don't really know what to make of it. Do you drop your temp when you're actually ovulating? I did drop by 0.2 degrees yesterday which seemed to be my normal for ovulation day.

What do you think? Which temp would you choose?

Thanks ladies

Your temp will often drop the day of or day before ovulation.
If you feel cold when you wake up yes it can affect your temps - but not if you are in your blankets, nice and warm, iykwim?
Not getting much sleep before temping can also result in a lower temp.

Sooooo..... it could have been any of those things. I usually record both and pick the one that doesn't mess up my chart :p You could just enter something between the two?
