Try to stay with me here lol I was thinking about starting a college course in Childcare but I don't know what that'll mean for our money situation. When my husband was at college he was claiming JSA at the same time. They said he would still have to find a job and quit his course if one came up. I don't want to be in that situation too. Would I be able to do a college course and claim some other kind of money? Income support? I don't know. I want to make some kind of career but at the moment it seems I'm stuck! Heeelp!
Sorry hun, didn't want to read and run, but I don't really have that much advice to be honest...One of my friends was in a similar position this year, and I know that the college have sorted her out with a bit of money for various things.. The college should have a Finance person who will advise you..My advice would be to go into the college and ask him/her what they can do xx
They have people you can talk to at the job centre about money and returning to work/education. You will have to ring them and make an appointment though
