I was on the implant for 2 years, had it out just over 2 weeks ago. I started the pill on the same day as I got the implant out. I only took 11 tho and stopped them on thursday as decided we would like to try for no 2. I would be expecting me to have a withdrawl bleed to start between today and monday, but having no signs of it yet but I am getting quite alot of runny stretchy cm today! Sorry I know that sounds gross! is it possible I could ovulate because of stopping pill half way through pack or is this a sign of af coming? Had a few twingy type pains 2. Its been so long since had a period as they stopped after being on implant for a year, just spotted every now and then. Thanks!

I stopped taking my pill around 3-4 weeks ago and within a few days had cramping around my left ovary, also my boobs grew massive and my nipples became so tingly! I ended up going to the doctor concerned and she reassured me I was probably ovulating and all the side effects were a result of crazy hormones. 2 weeks later, AF came so Im assuming it was ovulation pains.

I did read that after stopping BC around 50% of women will ovulate within the first month and cycles are usually back to normal within 3 months.

Thanks mabey thats what happening then! Hopefully af will make an appearance soon, dont think ive ever wanted to see her so much.
