I've been googling and googling what's happened this week and I think I'm just getting more confused lol. So I was hoping someone may be able to shed some light??
We've been ttc since Xmas. My cycles average 31 days and I've been tracking everything on an app inc bbt.
We dtd plenty during my fertile window. I was expecting AF at the end of this week. Every cycle, I've had very sore breasts and horrendous cramps 1 to 2 weeks prior to AF which would then go when AF arrived. AF would be extremely heavy for the 1st couple of days, would lighten up and last around 4/5days.
So, this cycle... My breasts arnt sore at all and I haven't had any cramps since a week after my last AF. Then on Saturday I suddenly out of the blue started bleeding! A week early! There wasn't enough to wear a tampon but was certainly noticeable on the toilet tissue.
I thought that it must have been AF until I've now been reading about implantation bleeding. I ended up putting a tampon in yesterday as I was expecting normal heavy flow but it didn't fill it at all.
I'm confused because what I read about implantation is that it's light bleeding. I wouldn't say this was really light but it's certainly no where near my normal bleeding level. Sometimes the blood is brownish and sometimes it's red. This is also confusing. The bleeding has just about stopped now too.
Is it possible to get red implantation blood? Everything I read about symptoms says breasts will hurt, mine are completely normal but normally hurt with AF. Soooo confused!! Also, my bbt continued to climb until today when it dropped. Does it drop on implantation?
Does anyone know how soon I can test?
