completely missed ovulation!

Last month I started charting fot the first time and I ovulated on day 19. Am on day 17 today so started B´ding yesterday. Just put my todays temps into fertility friend and it said I ovulated 3 days ago!!! I had creamy CM around that time so didn´t think I´d I would ovulate at all. Also last cycle I had a 10 day luteal phase so does this mean this cycle will only be 24 days?? Seems very short. I am breastfeeding but the last 5 months have averaged 27 - 31 days long.

Have you tried OPKs? I know it is a bit late for this cycle but they do work.

I thought you wouldn't ovulate if breastfeeding??

Breastfeeding and ovulation shouldnt occur at the same time, but exceptions exceptions exceptions..

Of course you can ovulate while nursing! If you are exclusively nursing prior to starting solids there is very little chance of becoming pregnant. If you have your period you can ovulate and you can become pregnant. Most moms I know ex bf and got pregnant while nursing.

My guess is that you ovulated CD 16. I think if you continue to get higher temps FF might change your O date. Especially based on your last months chart. You may still have caught the eggy! Also, my LP varies so your cycle might not necessarily be cut short. GL!

You were right about FF changing my date. My temps continued to get higher and today it says I ovulated on CD 18! We B´d CD 16 so I could be in with a chance!
