Completely off topic, but.... OH's birthday **UPDATED**

OH's birthday is in about a month, abd I have no clue what I want to get him! He mentioned a new phone, the other day, but I already decided that I was going to do that for christmas (he doesn't know this). But I was thinking about getting him Buffalo Bills tickets, which is his favorite team. I'm not sure what to do... A new phone would be more conventional, since his doesn't hold charge long; but the game would be so fun and I think he'd enjoy it a ton and be very surprised!

Any opinions?

It's something you can make a night out of! The phone can come any ol' time -- but a night out with the wifey at a Bills game? Priceless.

I thought so too! Hell, I hate the Buffalo Bills, I'm more of a Giants fan- but I'll enjoy it because he'll have this goofy little smile on his face the entire time!

exactly! I'm a Patriots or Steelers girl, but I'll definitely go to any game for any team if OH is happy. That's what matters most!

Well that's tricky since his phone is having trouble already.. Do you think that if you get the tickets now he'll be able to wait for the phone till Christmas? My friend has a Nokia and it's a little more than 1 y/o and now she only has battery for one call.. But I don't know much about the season so would you be able to still get him tickets for Christmas?

oh god you should've saw the way he was acting when they beat the Patriots, I thought I was going to have to bring him to the hospital for a heart attacknor something haha. Sunday was awesome, Bills handed the Patriots their ass, and my Giants killed it and broke Vick's hand :'D Such a good day! His reaction about the tickets was priceless, he figured it out only a few hours after the amazing win, he had like the best day of his life

He's even more excited that I'm purchasing Buffalo apparel for the game, just so I look the part! I have an interest in the Bills now (never jumping on the bandwagon though, still Giants for life!) but I have an interest since they are doing so well this year, first time in ages! So I don't mind having to wear the apparel as much. I'm just thoroughly enjoying the fact that I'm getting called "great" every open second, tehe.

As for Vick, he shouldn't have been playing Sunday anyway since he had such a bad concussion last week- now a broken hand that may just keep him out for the season. Karma's a bitch, and I love it

haaaa! It's called having an auxiliary team. I have the Patriots and the Steelers of whom I adore. It's tough picking a side when they're at one another's throats though. Love football!

Well, OH's birthday was nearly a week ago now and he was beyond ecstatic about the tickets to his game! He started planning everything right away; I have never seen him so excited. So that was a major success

As for the new phone? His parents were nice enough to get him a brand new iPhone; he's a spoiled man, that one
