I had a cone biopsy about 9 years ago to remove cancerous cells from my cervix and I mentioned this to the midwife when I saw her a couple of weeks back. She's referring me to a consultant who I will see when I'm 12 weeks.
I've been doing a bit of reading up on this and it seems it's possible my cervix may not be strong enough to carry to full term?! Or my cervix may stay closed during active labour?!!!

Any other girls have any experience with cone biopsies and pregnancies?

It is true that cone biopsy can have some affect on the ability of the cervix to stay closed till you are full term but your consultant will discuss this with you. I found this page
https://www.cancerhelp.org.uk/help/default.asp?page=2768#cone
which says that the reports that it can make labour longer is unfounded by research. Hope it goes well with the consultant xxx
