hi , i was just wondering if anyone can help me??? before my MMC in february my cycles were always 28 days, however afterwards they went to 40day cycles with ovulation happening on day 26, my LMP was 16th august so wasnt expecting to ovulate until 10th sepember, anways i was feeling ovulation cramps this cycle on 30th, 31st august and also 1st september and i had positive OPKs on all of these days, so now i was just wondering how many DPO i am do i calculate from the first positive OPK or not seeing as i had 3 on 3 different days? and what could have caused me to ovulate earlier or do you ladies think that my body was just adjusting after the MC and my cycles will now got back to 28days? sorry for all the questions and thank you all in advance :) x

So sorry to hear about your loss :(

It can take a bit for your cycles to regulate after a MC. I don't think it is anything to be concerned about!

OPKs seem to give 12-48 hours warning for ovulation. Lots of girls who chart their temp seem to notice that they ovulate on the day of the first negative OPK test (and all my fertile signs went away the day of my first negative after a few positive OPKs).

Your DPO will still be a guess, as it is for all of us, lol... I'd guess you were 5dpo today.

thanks lisaf, ive tried temp charting but dont really get it oh 5dpo ive been putting myself at 9 haha no wonder im getting BFNs haha :) x

lol, yeah its just hard to tell with OPKs alone. Charting was overwhelming to me but fertilityfriend is just great because you just put your data in and and it figures it out for you.
Its possible you are 9dpo (and still WAY too early for a BFP) but also pretty likely you're only 5 :)

thanks again im going to try this FF ive heard some good things about it and try to get to grips with my temping also but its hard as i wake up at all sorts of strange times x

Even with some fluctuation in wakeup time, you can often still see a pattern. They key thing is getting enough uninteruppted sleep prior to taking your temp... hard for some moms with little ones still waking in the night.
