confused bout trimesters !!

    hiya ladies , well when i got preg i thought the 2nd trim started at 12wks , then i read it starts at 13wks this morning i read it starts at 14wks !!! :rofl: everyweek i think im in 2nd trim someone moves the goalposts again , someone please help :rofl: im 13 weeks tomo !!!

    Hmmmm....
    Don't want to be a party pooper but the beginning of the the 2nd Trimester is medically 14 weeks.

    1st Trimester - First day last period to 13+6
    2nd Trimester - 14 to 27+6
    3rd Trimester - 28 to birth!

    Yeah, I was thinking, if you divide 40 weeks into three, then there is 13 weeks in each Trimester and one extra week. So second Trimester in that case wouldn't start till beginning of 14th week.

    Yeah, I know that mathematically it works that way .... but do you think anybody will shoot us for arriving in the Tri-2 forum early? :D

    Had dating scan (12 wks)?

    Morning sickness lessening?

    Tiredness lessening?

    Ready to move into the "blooming" stage?

    I agree with the above, sometimes it doesnt feel right asking questions about prams ect in first tri for example lol
