Confused...

I'll be 35 weeks on Tuesday. I have high amniotic fluid, so I'm measuring ahead, and I have a big baby (based on u/s scans, which I know can vary). I had uncomfortable contractions every eight minutes or so last night, but I could talk through them and they went away after I rested a bit and drank some water. I'm thinking that was just regular ol' Braxton Hicks. But now I'm super paranoid. Anyone have any experience with anything similar?

Just had something similar a few days ago. I had some painful contractions. I only had three of them and they were about 5 mins. apart lasting 30 seconds. After they went away I had about 10 braxton hicks in a row. It was really odd. I'm hoping it means I will not go past my due date. Even a little early would be nice.

I'm hoping the same! I can't be induced, as I'm trying for VBAC, so earlier is better than later for me. (Not too early though, I hope).

Good luck on your VBAC. Yeah I'm hoping around 38 weeks he'll come. If not I will have to be induced at 39 weeks due to protein in my urine. I had to be induced with my daughter for the same reason and the pain was so unbearable that I had to get an epidural. Praying that I can try it without an epidural this time. I've got my fingers crossed for us!

Yes! Fingers x'd! I had pre e with my daughter, which is why this is going to be an attempted VBAC. I hope everything continues to go well with you in your pregnancy.
