confused

i went to see a doctor last week to for a cheek up ( i gave birth 10 weeks ago)
she did a vaginal ultrasound &b said all is ok
+ she said i was ovulating ,, did some measurements & told me it well rupture after 5 days on Wednesday, i had ovulating pains on that day
4 days later i had my period
its been 2 days now and am sure its not ovulation spotting
its like period blood dark + clouts
i'm confused

never heard of this but i bleed for a LONG time after giving birth, i wouldnt worry

I don't have much advice, but it's so normal to have weird bleeding after birth. If you're really concerned call your doctor to get reassurance. I bled 8 weeks PP and then stopped for a few weeks and it returned for like 2 weeks, it was so weird! Then I stopped having periods for a year and now they're back and normal!

I also bled for LONG, in fact it just stopped maybe a week ago (my LO was born in May). So no worries, I hate when HV or doc says 'it's normal' but bleeding for long after birth is normal.
