Confusing chart and maybe broken bbt thermometer??

I am confused I haven't had the "dip" or rise and I wonder if my thermometer is messed up because I just took my temp, at 10 pm, and it was 96.84, lower then this am at 5:45! Do you think I need a new thermometer or should I wait until after this cycle? Or maybe I just haven't O'd yet? Super confused. Thanks I'm advance. I will put my chart on from last month too so you can see the differences.
