Confusion after doctors appointment! HELP!!

Okay so I haven't had a period since May 30th, almost two months. I went to the doctors today and when he looked down below, he said my cervix is purple and I could be pregnant but my uterus wasn't enlarged so it would have to be early. I got a blood test done and that came up negative. All tests were normal :'(
I don't know how to take it. Does that mean it could be just too early?? Or should I just say better luck next month??
Someone please give me some insight!! The more I look online for answers the more confused I get

IF YOU HAVE HAD A NEGATIVE RESULT AFTER 2MONTHS OF NO PERIOD I WOULDN'T IMAGINE THAT YOU WERE PREGNANT, I WOULD GO BACK TO DOCTORS AND DEMAND MORE DETAILED ANSWERS.I HOPE THINGS WORK OUT FOR YOU HONEY.

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL ME AND HUBBY BEEN TTC A YEAR AND HALF AND ON FIRST CYCLE OF CHLOMID.
