Im 38+1 now and today ive just seemed to have a constant braxton hick! I never had any at all with my 1st son (that i noticed lol) and ive had them this pregnancy from about 30 weeks which is norm etc but normally ill have a tightening itll last a few secs/mins then go they rnt normally painful just uncomfortable then today ive just had big loooonnnnnggg one its really starting to get uncomfortable. I dont think im in labour its not 'that' kinda pain if u get me but i was just wandering whether anyone else has had a day like this, does it mean babe is really getting ready to make an appearance, anyone had one then gave birth shortly after (say a week or watever after?) or anyone always had them like this? Babe is moving ok not as much as normal obviously put down to size now lol

I have them all day long!! I didnt have them with my first but I've had them for a good few weeks now. My MW said sit on your birth ball if you have one and use them to help baby to engage.

x

I get them all day long too. Alot more than I did last time! And I thought I had them alot then! x

I get them all day long too - been getting them since about 20wks and they're getting more frequent now. Like you said - they're not painful just ANNOYING!

I have them too but I am not sure if this is something to do with taking RLT as I have been taking maximum dose for 8 weeks now.

I WAS having loads everyday and the past two weeks i've had bugger all  i'm taking it as a sign my LO is in NOOOO way ready

I never had any with my last 4 preganancies, but have had them this time. Getting them more now.

My other babies never Engaged until I actually went into labour so wonder if it will be different this time..
