Who's got this? You know that feeling when you are about to get your period and you just feel really blah. Kind of sick, that 'full' feeling and the really mild pain? I am having that this afternoon, but nothing that comes and goes, just the constant pain, like you'd get when you have your period.

I don't remember what it was like with DD - I think it kind of started like this, then turned into contractions I could time, before having a bleed and being induced. Hoping it's not the same!

I had prelabour with DD for a good few weeks, but the sort where I could wake up and time them, not this constant dull ache. Hmmm.

Has anyone had this be the start? Please give me some hope, I'm so ready to just meet this little guy!

I cant give u hope but can relate. Have been having period type pains, cramping, back ache and generally having periods of feeling blah for last couple of weeks. Was sure i'd go before due date but here i am 3 days over (ticker is out by a day).

Hopefully it is the start of labour for u. The last couple of weeks has been very frustrating for me. Keep us updated x

I've had the cramps feelings since Friday, it's JUST like period pain, not too bad or anything. Like when you are due on and then you discover you have started your period. Or it could even be like needing a poo, but thats been happening so can't be that. It comes and goes but not regularly. I really thought perhaps something was happening but nothing yet.

Feeling even more disheartened this morning as seen MW and now won't have another appointment til 41 weeks when they will do a sweep.

That sounds like how my labour started last time. I hope this is it for you!

Ive been having these too, ill be laying down and thinking, "oh god, im going to get my period soon....nooo...wait...i havent had that for 9 months...duh! :dohh:" then sometimes when im sitting ill have shooting pains that take my breath away, but they are really inconsistent (i tracked yesterday and it was average about 2 per hour of the omg kind, the rest were the blehhhhh period pains)...i see my ob today and am hoping that we had at least some progress on dilation...if not, i know she will make her appearance when she is ready, but im soooo ready myself :haha:

I've been having the same since Sunday- on Sunday I really thought things were starting! Then last night the cramps came again then my DH gave me a foot and ankle massage and hand massage (trying to get the reflexology points) and the cramps started up again- don't know if they are related to the massage or not. It's frustrating but I've had so much now I'm not getting excited until they start getting sore- at the moment it's all very mild and manageable!

Oh I hope your baby is saying they're ready and that things are getting started for you! With both of my kids, I felt sick and had dull aches for a few days, about a week before each of them was born. I swore this was gonna be it, and then it would go away and I'd feel GREAT! Then, I'd "give up" on the baby ever being born and BAM! straight into labor. Try to relax and see if that helps the process along - I think my stress is what hinders labor for me the most.

I have those sometimes. Last Sunday, I had that constant dull crampy feeling all day long. I even took Tylenol, but that didn't help. I asked the dr. and she had me show her where it was bothering me (under my belly) and she said she didn't think it was anything to worry about and to make sure I was drinking plenty of water. I am also getting NSTs twice a week so I know I'm not having any contractions.
