We have been weaning for 5 weeks and LO refuses water or baby juice. He is now constipated and in some pain. What can I do?

Keep trying with the juice/water,try prune juice if he will take it.

Have you tried making his food a bit more watery? I add cooled boiled water sometimes.

Vinnie is younger than your little one but suffered badly with constipation so my doctor advised me to syringe him water throughout the day, it was the only way i could get any water down him as he wouldnt take it in a bottle

My son suffers quite badly with it and water really is the only thing that helps, he has some in a Doidy cup with every meal. It is definitely worth trying out different types of cup to try and get him to take some water.
