im wondering the general stand point for this question.
i spoke with my doctor at the IUI and was told that if after 34 days and no period to obviously call them and have some blood work scheduled. but, i asked about my metformin.
i was told to NOT stop my metformin even after a confirmed pregnancy. i would continue to be on it and may even stillbe on it once im discharged to my regular OBGYN. that doctor would be the one that would take me off of it.
is that normal?
im looking at charts and most folks on met stoop recording taking met after they get a positive.
right now this is just wishful thinking, but id like to know what im getting into if a week from now i do test positive, and im still taking my 2000mg metformin.
thanks!
