contractions or braxton hicks?

so i had 3 painful cramps this morning around 8 felt like bad period pain.

i thought was BH but ive just read that BH are not painful is this true?

ive also had a bit of a bad stomach today (going toilet a bit more than usual)

im thinking maybe after all it could be something to do with my bowels maybe i was backed up a little sorry TMI!

any one else had experience with this yet?

i can feel a slight cramping as i type but nothing as painful

BH are normally not painful, but they can be. I wouldn't worry if it only happened three times. If they become regular and do not stop, then go to the er.

everyone and everywhere says BH don't hurt but if you tie that with ligament pain its going to hurt iv found all mine hurt esp the stronger ones the mild ones just catch my breath which ain't so bad really I think the concern would be if they continued and got stronger and hurt more than you get used to

I get horrid gas/tummy pain first thing in the morning - pain that would make me curl up in a ball if I was standing... and it feels better once I go to the washroom, so it's totally just my bowels...

BH are also random. Real contractions will be steady and increase in frequency over time I'd say BH. I think I had one the other day that was painful, or it could have been just really bad gas?

Yep I've had bowel pains that made me think I was dying and everything inside was falling out. That's how painful it was. I've not yet experienced BH yet.
