Cost of scan pics!

i was reading a thread from the other day which discussed the cost of Scan pictures!
So i gathered all my loose change and went along to my scan, sat in the waiting room i noticed the walls were plastered with signs saying please pay for scan pic tokens before going into the ultrasound room, So i Sent my other half to the machine he came back with 3tokens (£7.50) After the scan i offered the midwife my tokens in exchange for the 3 scan pics and she said "Oh i dont need those, i think they over charge! save them for your next scan, you might have a stricter midwife" then laughed! I came away with my 3 pics and 3 tokens! Just goes to prove they do over charge, even the midwife says so!

That was great that you had such a nice midwife, mine was lovely that I saw at my booking appointment. I also feel very lucky aswell because I was only charged £2.00 per scan picture and I thought that was a little expensive! I couldn't believe it when I read some of the prices on the other thread, although I would probably still pay them as scan photo's are such a precious reminder of baby that you can share with them in years to come xx
