I was not sure where to post this..
So here is the thing. I have been on implanon for almost 3 years.
I am due to have the thing taken out in May. I really thought I was supposed to get my period like mid january because my period finally became regular again since having implanon (which means the hormones are wearing off) I usually get it around the same time as my mom and sister but theyve already had there periods.
Last week i felt cramping here and there so I thought my period would be coming on but it never did.
-Friday night I noticed dark discharge. So i thought my period was definitely starting
-Saturday I was at work, the dark discharge was more like spotting of dark pink and brown.
-Then the spotting has been really dark brown and stringy..but not a lot.
-it has been coming and going. I will wipe sometimes and see nothing. then sometimes i wipe and see a string of brown.
-I HAVE had light cramps where my ovaries are.
-I HAVE had cramps that feel like light period cramps for a few seconds.
I took 2 test the first day that I had the spotting. & one was invalid.the other was negative. I knew it was probably too early to tell but I still did it.
i'm still having the same issues though..
& this same thing happened when i was pregnant the first time.
What would be the best time to take a pregnancy test?
Do people get pregnant on the implanon?
If i am pregnant i just want to hurry up and know so i can get this thing taken out of my arm .
