Could this be it???

Well I'm 10 days overdue today, had a sweep on weds where she said my cervix was still quite long and I was 1-2 cms dilated..
Woke this morning with pains and back ache and lots of brown mucus jelly discharge, midwife was coming to see me at 10am do do another sweep and discuss induction.. Well when she examined me she said I was nearly fully effaced and 3 cms dilated easily streched to 4cm and did a very thorough sweep!
I've been walking and bouncing on my ball since as that's really getting the contractions to come, started timing them and they are coming every 8 minutes ish and lasting a good minute..
so we've got our daughter packed off to her aunts for the night and everything is ready! Planning on a home birth so just waiting for them to become stronger/more frequent before I call the midwife to see what she thinks!
Exciting but I'm scared the contractions are just gunna die down and stop!!
