Or are they obviously too similar?

It would be Jack, Freddie and Jacob... I really love J names and always thought you couldn't really have those together but someone said today they thought it sounded fine!

My other names are Henry, Arthur, Seth and Lucas

Girls is easy I like Lily Martha. But would also consider Ivy, Ella and Nora

ETA: We're not even TTC #3 until the end of the year but I do like to be prepared haha

I think Jack and Jacob are fine to use together, but if Jacob got shortened to Jake that would be too close for me. I'd probably avoid it in case people shortened it. I really like all your other boy choices!

If the whole name Jacob would always be used then I think it's be ok, but people probs will shorten it to Jake, and if the boys were at the same school then brothers called Jack and jake would sound a bit odd. I love some of your other names you've picked out, and all your girls names would 100% all be names that I'd use :)

Yes I think you're all probably right. Jack and Jake wouldn't be good would it! Shame really but luckily there are lots of other old man names out there :)

I'd say too close for twins, but acceptable for siblings that are not twins if it's what you really like.

think theyre okay, i knew twins called jack and jake ... now that was confusing lol

I read this title and thought Boo would say yes go for it :) Didn't even spot it was your own thread :haha:

Seth is one of my all time favourite and Sebbie has a buddy called Lucas which I love too. If you're after old man names I hear a lot of Stanleys at the.moment and Wilfreds I know you already have a Freddie but a lot of them are called Wilf where I live.

For me personally it would be a no, we have a Jack and did consider Jacob but decided it was too similar. x

Ha that's funny notnic! Love the way you call your baby Sebbie that's adorable :) Our surname starts with an S so I've always avoided S names but I love Seth too x

Ah thank you. There's always still Rafferty available if you need another option :) I couldn't convince hubby in the end, but if we go for a third I think I might ham up the experience and see if he feels sorry for me and let's me have it! Hehe

One of my favourites is Nate (Nathanial) but we have a N surname and I have an N first name so I know what you mean about ruling out a letter
