Counseling for family/spouses with a child with CP

Hi,

We have a four year old daughter with CP. I suppose I am reaching a breaking point and my wife has checked out a bit. We have an 8 year old son that I think competes for attention as well. I work and she stay at home with the kids.

Separation or divorce may be disastrous. Does anyone have experience in the New York City area that provides counseling to spouses or families with a special needs child?

Have you tried calling 311, they can definitely direct you.. New York has so many FREE programs ..I am very sorry . Wishing you all the best
