Anyone have any tips on how to cover bruises? I have lots on my legs at the moment including 2 huge ones from last week and they look awful. I'm meant to be going out the weekend, wearing a dress. I've tried using my normal make-up but it looks really bad still?

I get bruises on me every where all the time and half the time I can't tell you why!
Try using a cotton ball and dabbing foundation, that way it won't be too heavy and then dabbing transparent powder over the top. If you can get a corrector concealer then that may be even better, especially a pink or peach based one as they're designed to neutralise under eye circles and redness and stuff like that. Fake tan can also help cover them. Sally Hansen do a leg spray which is like a fake tan and cover up in one - it's called airbrush legs, it's a wash off one so it's not like normal fake tan where if it goes wrong you're stuck with it so it can be quite useful.
Arnica is really good for helping bruising heel, I was recommended it by someone a while ago it's not expensive and it did seem to work, you can get it spray, gel and I think tablet form.

I bruise easily. When I was teaching my legs were always covered due to knocking low chairs and tables lol. Witch hazel helps but personally I usually just put on tights, I am so pale that bruises look worse than they are which led to me at school been asked if I was being abused and I was actually just clumsy

I used to have some very noticeable scars on my legs,I used colour correcting concealer on the scars, foundation on my whole legs (good way of using up any that aren't quite the right shade), and dab concealer on top where required.
Xx

I've been using Aricare cream for bruising and that seems to have helped but my shins are an ugly green colour lol. That airbrush legs thing sounds good, gonna look in to that!

Jerome alexander make up. I use it to cover scars so don't see why it wouldn't work on bruises. It's amazing

I can't wear tights, I hate them lol. Plus my legs never get cold, I blame wearing a skirt to school every day no matter what the weather was :haha:

:haha: you're lucky not to feel the cold, I find as I get older I hate it more and more!! In that case for covering bruises I'd probably suggest experimenting with fake tan? I don't use it but would imagine it wouldn't cover bruises but may make them less obvious.

Something like this maybe (if you can ignore th price!)

For that price I think I'll just have bruises haha.

Plus I'm sure most people will be drunk and won't notice. I'm off to see some strippers and I'm guessing the women will go wild

Apart from the christmas holidays, i have never not been covered in bruises in the last year, all down to pole dancing. Think about it - do you notice anyones bruises when you're out? Na - you just enjoy the night!!! :)

I'm not gonna be drinking as originally planned so gonna bruise spot instead haha.

I'm gonna add this here rather than starting a new thread, what lipstick would you wear with this dress? I'm not sure if I should try and match the dress or just keep it nude? My hair and the dress match so I dunno if matching lips would be too much lol?
