Would also like some ideas as Tom has a lot on the top of his head too. It has loosened a bit since we stopped giving him a bath every night but some of it is really thick still.

The best thing I found was to rub some olive oil into their scalp, leave for a few hours or overnight and then gently brush out in the morning. It softens it up so it flakes off. Whatever you do, don't pick it as it can get infected. Also, if you're currently using a 2-1 shampoo and body wash then try using a proper baby shampoo instead. After we did this, we didn't have any other problems. xx

If you put some baby oil in their hair (dry) while they are in the bath and leave their hair to last, so it is on for a good 20-30mins, then comb it through gently, then wash really well, that should get rid :)

Zach has had it since he was born, last week it was really annoying him. So i got some of his Diprobase, while he was in the bath, put it on his wet hair and massaged it in. Most of it came out the first time, then tonight i did it again. And now its all out. Couldnt beleive how easy it was, he had it all over too :(

When my LO had it we would just put baby lotion on her scalp after her bath, her hair was a little oily for a couple of days but it disappeared in about 4 days.
