Idea's to keep a toddler busy that's stuck inside? I'm being induced next week so need plenty of idea's for him for the early days..

So far we have
*crayons & paper
*bottles with bells, pipe cleaners, rice etc (lid tightly screwed on and taped)
*Balloons
*Pipe cleaners, eyes, sparkly stick on things to stick on to a craft ball

He is almost 15 months old.
Anyone else got some ideas we can do inside that don't require to much effort?

Play Doh (bought or make your own) Baking stuff is normally quite easy and fun, get plain fairy buns from shop or bake them add of blob of icing and let him add decorations, can do the same with biscuits. That might get messy though lol!! Pinterest have some great ideas too!

I seen a thread that had good ideas in the toddlers section, probably a bit old for your sin but you could maybe change them a little for his age :)

I've done two things with my 4 year old lately that required me doing a lot of the prep work but the end products were adorable & he helped me finish them up (as could your 2 year old). First one I ordered two 8x10 pictures of my boys & cut out their heads. Then out of card board I cut out shapes of bunnies. I glued pink construction paper where the ears are & glued the cut out of the head from the pictures where the faces go. Then I gave my LO a glue stick & had him glue all around the cardboard & around his face & then he stuck cotton balls on the whole thing. After that I took foot prints of each of their feet & we glued them on the belly of the rabbit so it looks like they are sitting down. Super cute & very easy. Plus it's a decoration you'll have for years to come. I'd just recommend doing the prep work beforehand.
Tonight we made an easter vase for his grandmother. I got a glass vase from the dollar store that was on sale for a penny! Put a smaller glass vase from the dollar store inside of it. My little one & I filled the larger vase 1/4 of the way with jelly beans & made a game of it trying not to get them in the middle vase (you could also count, do colors, etc). Then I put easter peeps (rabbits) facing out wards going around the whole large vase, alternating colors. That was hard for LO to do, so I had him take them apart (eat them) & hand me the appropriate color & asked him which color came next to practice patterns. Then we put more jelly beans on top of the peeps all the way to the top & put fake flowers in the middle vase. It looks super cute!

My experience is if your breastfeeding your going to want things he can do independently. My LO loves to glue. I have lots of bits of cut out birthday and Christmas cards and he has a print stick and glues them to paper. You could cut out bits of magazines or leaflets. He also loves the magic paint books where you just use water. However I would really recommend getting some DVDs with episodes like Thomas or Bob the builder and some toddler apps on your phone. I know its not the 'best' option but in the early days you need to make life easy. My LO has some great toddler apps and they have helped teach him his letters numbers colours and shapes.

Also a game my LO loves at the moment and works great when I'm breastfeeding is mummy says I give him lots of instructions - my say touch you toes mummy says spin in a circle mummy says lie on the floor and he loves following them.

I think the ones you've suggested are brill but you could always do pasta pictures with glue. Glueing and sticking out of magazine cutouts, even felt shapes on a backing card, building blocks, baby jigsaws, and if your sat at the side if your lo we used to do bubble pictures, where you put paint, water and a bit of washing up liquid in a paint pot or cup, get your piece of paper and put it over the cup and push a straw thru the middle, then let lo blow on the straw while your holding the paper off the cup a little bit (providing he isn't likely to suck on the straw) lol and the results are brill. I'm a nursery nurse so we did all these with the children at nursery ;-) x
