Crafty fathers day ideas...?

So babies are in bed, hubby is in bed - so chill time for mama! What is everyone doing for fathers day??

I really fancy doing something crafty especially. Love trying crafts with my lb... anyone have any good ideas?

last yr for my husbands first fathers day i had made him a slideshow of our lifes journey and added a really nice song to play in the background. He loved it actually he cried
Its not crafty but its different..

This yr i think im going to personalize a cell phone case with the boys pictures. Hes a computerf/technology person..

For crafty ideas maybe
Write/find a nice poem/song lyric and let ur ds paint the paper you write it on (seeing ds2 is a wee one put his footprint on it)

* take a photo of your 2 kids together and let ur ds decorate the frame.

Ill be stalking this thread too to get some other ideas

My dd is almost sitting by herself so I'm gonna have her sit, hold the letters that spell out dad, take a pic and frame it. Also, getting him a gift card to a local brewery.

I am planning on making salt dough and doing mine and my babies handprints, painting them and they getting dh to do his, and tying them all together (Like we are all attached)....

Last year I did painted hand prints onto a piece of card then got a really nice poem off the internet and wrote it next to them finished off with his exact aage (6 weeks 4 days) and his full name...I framed it.

This year, he's getting a laptop bag lol

Oh I'm in the same boat, hubby not well in bed and lo in bed I'm having a wee vino and don't plan anything for Father's Day lol just a gift! Mother's Day was not made a big event for me haha!

But I've got my oh a mug with my Los footprint on it.

I'm going to make ds, dh, grandpa and granda t shirts. I bought a book of iron on transfers ages ago and in it are acorns and trees amongst other things. Ds will have acorns on his and the others will have trees (from little acorns great oak trees grow).

Ive bought my husband a cup and a keyring both with photos of lo on.

For mil's birthday i made a picture of a butterfly with los feet as the wings and wrote 'happy birthday nanny' on it. She loved it! I think i got the idea from this forum actually but i cant remember who from. Thanks tho whoever it was.

You could do something simular for fathers day.

I was going to do one for my husband but I'm a bit busy atm and dont think ill have time.
