I never had any cramping at all with my son's pregnancy. This time I've had light cramping off and on since the start. Very slight. Starting yesterday, however, I felt like I had bad menstrual cramps. I know cramping is common, but is a sudden onset of painful cramping a really bad sign? It's not double-over in agony painful, but I may have taken some Tylenol by now if it was menstrual cramps.

Should I ring my doctor, or is this normal? My next appointment is in one week.

I would probably get it checked out since you are already 10 weeks. Vaginal infections can cause cramping I read.

I've had them on and off since 9 weeks. I still get the odd ones now that sorta feels like mild period pain. I'm 15 weeks today

My midwife said its normal and due to stretching
