Cramping but not during tightenings?

Since this morning, I've been feeling some light cramping on and off, as well as BH every 10-15 minutes or so, but the cramping doesn't seem to always line up with the tightenings. I've also been experiencing some low back pain for a couple days but when I was in the hospital after a PTL scare, they said it's probably due to being bed-ridden.

I'm afraid the light cramping could be an early sign of preterm labor again, and since my cervix is quite short, it's a little nerve-wracking. Just looking for a little insight...

PS: The contractions don't worry me as much as the light cramping as they're quite the norm for me at this point, thanks to my incredibly irritable uterus.

I've had what you're experiencing for weeks now and I still seem to be going strong. Are you getting enough water? Dehydration can make the cramping worse but it's also natural for your body to prepare for eventual labor. As always, keep in touch with your doctor, everyone is different.
