cramps and spotting? HELP :'(

Hi...

am 4 weeks pregnant and have on/off light cramping and last night there was a spot of blood probably about the size of a pinhead when i went to the toilet..

no further blood today but cramping continues..

should i be worried?

help please xxx

cramping is normal in early pregnancy as long as theres no more blood u shud b fine x

Imagine every time you have a cramp that its your lil one burying itself deeper into your uterus so he/she can snuggle up for 9 months. I had some bleeding right after I got my BFP this time and everything is just fine. My Dr. said he thinks it was implantation blood because it didnt have anywhere to go but out........He also said 1/3 of all pregnancies have some type of bleeding/spotting in the 1st trimester and to try not to worry (I know, I know, easier said than done) I'm sure everything is ok hun, its just your lil bean snuggling in.....

I ended up in a&e when I was 4weeks with AWFUL cramping and very slight spotting. They didn't even check my hcg levels! However I am still pregnant and have had no more spotting since. I still cramp occasionally, and it's sometimes painful during the night but I'm not too worried now. you should be fine xx

I had AWFUL cramping (worse than period cramps) from ab 4-6 weeks. I also had some very slight spotting and thought the worst... literally was just waiting for everything to go downhill. But, my doctor got me in for a scan at 6 +1 and everything looked fine... I think cramping is really normal in the beginning. Oh, and since my scan, very mild cramps if any! Good luck!

I cramped/spotted during the first 10 weeks of this pregnancy.

My first incident of spotting was at 3 weeks and 4 or so days. What my doctor did immediately was check my progesterone and hCG levels by taking blood from me to test. Progesterone was fine, and hCG was low (so they said), but he continued to run blood tests and my hCG levels rose appropriately.

I would make an appointment right away to get those tests (hCG and progesterone), because he can give you medication if your progesterone is low. Hope that helps. Congratulations!

hey hun, i wouldnt worry about that!! ive had a mc before, and when i started to bleed, it was very obvious that i was going to miscarry as the bleeding was worse then a period! i wouldnt worry about a little bit of spotting, its pretty common! you & baby will be fine!

i dont really wanna go doctors so early, got an appt 2 weeks today to get referred to midwife so lookin forward to that

im just overthinkin, cant help it

everything will be fine, i had cramping at 4 weeks too, so normal
