Cramps Question

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to why I might be cramping 5 days before missed AF. I ALWAYS spot for 7 days before AF so I can't look at that as possible "implantation spotting". However, I never cramp until the day AF is due so this kind of threw me off a bit. I have lower back pain, and the typical menstrual cramping. My cycles are ALWAYS 30-31 days so I can't see why I would be starting 5 days early. Also, I haven't had any stress or anything differently this month. Sorry for all the rambling, thanks for looking!

I have read that progesterone can cause cramping, so maybe your progesterone levels are higher than normal this cycle? I really don't know though. I had cramping from about 1dpo until around 7dpo this cycle. I'm 11dpo and af should show tomorrow. The cramps have stopped for the most part. I get a stab here and there... I figure it's just my body pretending to be pregnant in order to piss me off
