I am a wheezy mess!
I cant seem to keep away from milkshake, yoghurts and angel delight!!

the pleasure is worth the snot!! Soya milk is just not cutting the mustard these days!

I totally understand. I don't even like milk and I want to drink it. I am making milkshakes with tiny bits of ice cream so that I can choke the milk down. Then, I get a gassy tummy ache because I just don't tolerate raw milk. Next day, I want to do the same thing!

Ha! Enjoy what you can... :)

A friend was highly lactose intolerant pre-pregnancy...it was BAD. The slightest amount of lactose in a meal would send her high-tailing it to the washroom. BUT during her pregnancy with her first, she consumed all of the yummiest dairy delights with absolutely no repercussions. She indulged in those months. Then, she went right back to normal (being lactose intolerant) after about a month of BFing.

It's amazing what the body does to accomodate the little people we have inside of us!

I used to be lactose intolerant, and now that I'm pregnant its back. I know they have lactaid pills out there that you can take if you'd like to eat dairy, but you'd have to ask your OB/Midwife about them because I don't know if they are pregnancy safe. (Hence the reason I haven't tried them) However, if you want a nice glass of milk or something, I'd suggest you try lactaid milk. Its lactose free, and tastes so close to milk you can hardly tell the difference. Hope that helps, hun.

Have you tried Almond milk?? There is also "almond dream"...which is like icecream but made with almonds...dairy free! Really good and HEALTHY!
