Crazy question that I NEED an oppinion/answer!

When my husband was born, he was born about 3 months prematurely. Does anybody know if being born prematurely can cause any fertility problems?

I know that preemies face a lot of problems early on in life, I am just wondering if an adult (who doesn't have any health problems related to being super premature) if this could be one of the things that is causing us to not get pregnant.

I have tried to google an answer but have not found any answers

I dont think so because the sex organs develop early in the pregnancy thats why were able to find out the gender by 20 weeks, I do know that in men if their testicles did not develop or descend properly can cause infertility if its not corrected early on it ( before age of 10) . Low testosterone is also a cause of MFI.

Hey hey! Have you both considered see a specialist to check fertility? I'm super fertile (as in my gyn has actually said "super fertile" multiple times), but now that I'm ttc is hasn't happened. When I started asking if maybe SO has sperm issues or if something was direly wrong all of a sudden with my body, I got the response, "it can take a healthy, fertile couple up to a year to conceive. Stop stressing yourself out. "

I am going to have my husbands sperm checked, and then we will go from there lol I just keep putting things off because I keep saying oh it will happen and I want it to happen for FREE lol

My mom was 2 1/2 months premature and this was in the '40s so she was not expected to survive. She had unprotected sex twice = me and my sister. So, for women anyway, I don't think it affects fertility.

Yeah, but just remember sometimes it just takes time. Hugs. I know you want answers though. So FXed no sperm issues on his end. Most guns suggest trying for a year before calling in the experts, but a year is so long. I'm at 3 cycles and I'm losing gumption
